]]> I only wish I had more time to spend here, The Rathbaun Hotel is family run and family friendly. I was travelling solo but I felt i could recommend this hotel to a broad spectrum of travelers. Lisdoonvarna is such a central location for Co Clares abundance of Awesome outdoor activities. The Hotel is minutes away from the beautiful expanse of the Burren, the Cliffs of Moher And Doolin!! All of which were recommended to me by the friendly staff who took the time to direct me in all the right direction.

As a keen surfer this hotel was an ideal choice for me as they exceeded my expectations with facilities ! I had a safe secure place to store my board at night so I wasn’t leaving it on a roof rack at night and i didn’t have to store boards in my car, also they had outdoor ? indoor area to clean wet suits in the evening! best of all I was centrally located amongst an array of amazing 5 star breaks north and south of the beautiful coast road.

Even though there is a great local night life I never really found my self straying to far from the hotel, which had amazing food , mighty traditional Irish music and the cream of Irish craic! i cant wait to go Back!!
