Childrens PlaygroundLisdoonvarna has a wonderful new Children’s playground, beside the football pitch and the new running track.
Local WalksThere are several fantastic walks in the locality. You can start from Lisdoonvarna. We have maps of the area with walks marked to help you choose a short or long walk or hike. At night there is music in several bars and Hotels. During the festival month of September there is dancing throughout the town by day and night.
Victorian Health SpaThe Spa Wells (partly open as it is under refurbishment)This small village became a popular health resort in the early nineteenth century growing around its spa wells. Lisdoonvarna's famous Victorian Spa Complex and Health Centre was a major attraction. The waters contain sulphur, magnesia, iodine and iron. The Spa's therapeutic mineral waters have been dispensed here since the 18th century. The Victorian Pump House is open daily during the summer months to sample the water.
Gourmet store and visitor centreThe Burren Smokehouse -Gourmet store and visitor centre. In the visitor centre you can learn about the ancient tradition of oak smoking Atlantic salmon and have a tasting of the salmon.www.burrensmokehouse.ie

Caherconnell Stone Fort, CarronCaherconnell is one of the best – preserved stone forts in the Burren. Unique in being the only fort developed for tourism, it was built about 1500 years ago and may have been occupied as late as the 16th century.The visitor centre incorporates an audio – visual presentation and a graphic display area.
